Its history can be dated back to the Vedic ethos in India before its export to Europe around the 6th century B.C. Turmeric’s extensive applications can be found across different cultures ranging from Vietnamese, Chinese & Indian medicines. It is also implemented in the development of cosmetic products and used as a key spice in exotic cuisines.

Vietnamese Turmeric is divided into several varieties commonly referred to as yellow, red and black turmeric.
